Hanbang Technology officially joins ONVIF and becomes member of ONVIF. ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum), established at 2008, intends to promote the application of network video in security industry through worldwide open interface standard.
Along with the network application of video monitoring, the division of the industrial chain will be more and more complicated. Some manufacturers only produce cameras; some only DVS and some may only platforms – these products are integrated by integrators before supplying to customers. This industry cooperation mode is urgently demanding more and more standardized interface platforms provided by the industry. The ONVIF standard will define the universal protocol for information interchange among network video equipment; this protocol includes equipment search, real time video and audio, meta data, control information and so on. Network video products therefore can produce various possibilities that enable end users, integrators, consultant and manufacturers to make profits and get more elastic solutions with better performance price ratio and chance of market expansion and the lower risk.
The progress of promoting the standard is also an important measure to purify the market, which contributes to integration of the security market resources and reducing repetition development work and unnecessary consumption of human and material resources to improve the reliability of products.
